Product Overview
The CR 2.0mm insulation displacement connector offers a low profile with a mounting height as low as 6.9mm and a thickness of 4.8mm (for top entry type). It is designed for the interconnection of UL1007 electric wires in a variety of electrical and electronic equipment such as VCRs and video cameras. Key features include automatic harness production capability, a folded beam double-leaf contact construction for enhanced strength and resistance to misinsertion, a twin U-slot insulation displacement section for high reliability, and a strain relief feature to protect the connection from external stress. The shrouded headers are interchangeable with KR, KRD insulation displacement, and PH crimp style connectors.
