The Z-PACK 2 mm HM Interconnection System is a comprehensive two-part connector system engineered for board-to-board connections. This versatile system enables the connection of free boards (daughterboards, printed circuit boards) to fixed boards (motherboards, backplanes, or back panels), with the capability to extend connections through the fixed board. The system also supports free board-to-free board connections and cable-to-PCB interfaces, providing multiple configuration options.
Standard configurations include right-angle female connectors on free boards and vertical male connectors on fixed boards. The system incorporates miniaturized EON pin contacts and can be stacked along PC board edges to accommodate varying signal requirements. Connectors feature guide and polarization posts, with select models offering Multi-Purpose Center (MPC) for coding devices.
