The 3M I/O Interconnect System 2.0 mm Wiremount Receptacle (Female), 3E206 Series, is designed for IEEE 1394 applications. It features a robust ribbon style contact for reliable, repetitive plugging and is polarized for proper insertion. This receptacle can accommodate six contacts for signal or power, with each pin capable of carrying up to one amp. It offers vibration resistance and solder termination for quick assembly without dedicated tooling, accommodating wire sizes up to AWG 18. The insulation material is glass-reinforced polyester (PBT) and the contacts are made of copper alloy.
