Product Overview
The Jones Plugs/Sockets Series 2400 is designed for medium-duty cable-to-cable and cable-to-panel applications. These connectors feature polarized housings to prevent incorrect insertion, with plugs offering projecting flat blades and sockets providing recessed twin bellows for maximum contact. Strain relief is provided by zinc and clear iridite-plated steel cable clamps. The bifurcated bellows socket contact ensures four flexing surfaces for reliable connection. Recessed pockets with barriers protect the contacts, and a shoulder around the mating face offers a finished appearance when mounted. The Series 2400 intermates with existing 400 Series products.
