Product Overview

The 7000 Series Buccaneer circular connectors offer a robust solution for signal and mains power applications, combining the ease of a quick coupling mechanism with proven environmental sealing. Designed to IP66, IP68, and IP69K standards, these connectors are ideal for environments where dust and water ingress must be prevented, and where ease of connection, space, and appearance are critical. They feature a less than 1/4 turn locking mechanism for secure mating and release, with positive feedback to ensure correct connection. Available in both all-plastic (UL94-V0 rated, UV stable, halogen-free) and metal constructions, with flex, inline, and panel mount body styles, the series supports 2 to 32 contacts with ratings up to 25A and 600V. Polarization and visual alignment features aid correct mating, while 'scoop proof' contacts prevent damage during mis-mating, making them suitable for blind mating applications. Terminations include screw, crimp, and solder options, and they are tested to EN60068-2-52 Test Kb Salt Mist (Marine Severity Level 1).
