Product Overview
The Z-PACK 2 mm HM Interconnection System is a versatile two-part connector system designed for board-to-board connections, enabling the interconnection of free boards (daughterboards, printed circuit boards) to a fixed board (motherboard, backplane, or back panel). It also facilitates the connection of cables to PC boards, allowing for multiple configurations. The system offers standard connections, including right-angle female connectors on the free board and vertical male connectors on the fixed board. Connectors utilize miniaturized EON pin contacts and can be stacked along the PC board edge. Features include guide and polarization posts, and optional Multi-Purpose Centers (MPC) for coding devices. Thirteen different module types are defined, offering varying contact counts and lengths. Male connectors typically have 5 signal contact rows, with an option for 2 additional ground return rows. Female connectors also have 5 rows, with an optional two-part ground return shield.
