The SBS connector family, including the SBS 50, SBS 75X, and SBS 75G models, offers high-power connectivity in compact, ergonomic housings designed for protection against accidental contact with live circuits. These connectors are crucial for applications with DC voltages exceeding 30 volts. They support wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations with power contacts rated up to 110 amps. The SBS75X provides up to 4 mate-last break-first auxiliary power/signal contacts rated up to 20 amps, while the SBS75G features a third, first-mate last-break ground or power contact. All contact positions are rated for circuit interruption (hot plugging) and offer a touch-safe interface, minimizing contact with live circuits per IEC 60950. The genderless design allows connectors to mate with themselves or PCB connectors, with color-coded mechanical keys for easy identification.
