The patented Anderson SBS connector family is engineered for high-power delivery within a compact, ergonomic housing, offering protection against accidental contact with live circuits. This feature is crucial for applications involving DC voltages exceeding 30 volts, which can pose a safety risk. Available in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations, SBS connectors provide power contacts rated up to 110 amps. The SBS 75X model includes up to 4 mate-last, break-first auxiliary power/signal contacts rated up to 20 amps. The SBS 75G variant features a third, first-mate, last-break ground or power contact. All contact positions are rated for circuit interruption, supporting hot-plugging. Key advantages include a touch-safe interface compliant with IEC 60950 for through-panel applications, wire-to-wire and wire-to-board flexibility, and integrated ground or auxiliary positions within a single housing for comprehensive connection solutions.
